The 5th String Spoiler

I found a couple of nice items at the dump this morning. I especially like the geometric frame, and the look of the title heading type. I might have to read this from the beginning.

This jacket will make something nice some time.

  2. LOL. You never cease to amaze! Dumpster Diving without a dumpster, and no diving required. Did you wear a mask?

Those are both really neat finds.

  3. Thanks for leaving a comment on the Zeppelin post! You are correct about the Empire State Building spire originally being designed as a mast to anchor the airships. Nobody considered the deboarding or boarding procedure involved which would have required a ROPE LADDER.

The other item most people are unaware of is that when the Graf Zeppelin made its voyages to the U.S., it had a very large swastika painted on the tail. Much effort was made to keep that image away from photographers so as not to offend the viewing public.

I too am fascinated with the lighter-than-air ships of the sky.

To say "I live for your comments" would be only a slight exaggeration. That notwithstanding, comment moderation is in effect to prevent posting of out-of-context links. My apologies to the regulars and the real.
