I just added nine new cross drawings to my Tumblr.

  1. I've had so very little time to blog - I did watch your interview, and I thought it was well worth my time - if only to put a person and face with a name.

These are great, Anita. I have been following, just not commenting.

  5. Hi Paula,
The cross drawing has turned into a meditative activity for me. I don't know how it became crosses as opposed to something else but perhaps this will be revealed in the future.

The more anxiety I experience about my life (and life itself--the way the world is going), the more I turn to the drawing. I have memories of feeling very anxious and anti-social when I first started school. I used to hide out in the girl's basement and draw on paper towels. Pretty much always the same drawing over and over.

I see the cross drawings as kind of the same thing.
