These are really cool, Anita - but it looks to me like the top one could possibly be the cover. That is, unless my biblio terminology is all out of whack. I thought the dust jacket was the paper 'jacket' on a hardbound book.

You are correct, my top photo is of a cover (from a recent dump find) and the one under it is a Photoshop manipulation of a detail.
The blog I mention shows cool covers with their jackets.
