North Station at Night, 1908

Here's a night time view of North Station in Boston, Mass. I love the way the full moon illuminates the clouds. The lights inside the buildings look like flames! It's interesting to compare this view with the daytime shot that I posted earlier. Today's card depicts the station before the "T" was constructed. Wishing you all a happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

There are people who specifically collect night view postcards. I can understand the appeal; there's something special about them.

Pretty moon on that card! The lack of automobiles is a good indication of the age - even before I read the postmark!

Oh wow !!!!
This is a great card.
There is something so unique about the texture and color as well as the fact I love the vintage look of this card.
Thank you for sharing this one .

Wow the night version with the dark sky and all looks like a street I would like to avoid. It was nice to be able to compare the night and day versions of the card.THANKS for sharing, PFF!

Wow! Before the 'T' ! Somehow I thought that even Fred Flintstone caught the T on his way to work at the quarry:)
