Longest Covered Bridge in the World

Here's a picture of my mother, Irene, taken around 1940 standing in front of the "Longest Covered Bridge in the World." I love the jagged edges of the photo.

I wonder if this speed limit is still in effect today? This is in response to Mary Tomaselli's post on New Brunswick Covered Bridges for Postcard Friendship Friday!

I wonder how many they caught speeding! A great picture to have in the family collection.

Great photo. I never even seen a covered bridge (except on postcards).

lovely vintage photo of your mom! $20 must seem a lot during those days!

20 greenbacks does seem like a stiff penalty! Your Mom is lovely! What a sweet smile she has. This is a a shining postcard gem Anita!

I've been on covered bridges where they say to not go over 5 km. so I suspect there's still a speed limit or the bridge might even be closed!

I've been gone for a week, and this is a GREAT image to come back to! She doesn't look at all concerned about the traffic!
